What is digital advisory support for small business?

Digital advisory support is personalised guidance delivered by an experienced advisor who understands small business. Your advisor can help you understand what is working, what needs improvement and what digital tools or systems could help your business become more efficient, visible, secure or productive.

This is not about overwhelming you with technology. It is about helping you make practical decisions to take the best next steps for optimising your business.

  • Business software

What you will receive

One-to-one advisory support is hands-on and practical. Your advisor does not just tell you what to do; they work alongside you to understand your business, help you make confident decisions and support you to put real changes in place.

Depending on your needs, your support may include a digital needs assessment, a tailored Digital Action Plan with clear prioritised next steps and, where relevant, connections to other government small business programs.

After your one-to-one digital advisory sessions

As part of the Digital Solutions program, you will be asked to complete a short satisfaction survey after accessing advisory support. This is a standard part of the program and helps monitor and improve the quality of support delivered.
