Before launching the Caloundra Chronicle, Alana Hall was working as a freelance graphic designer after spending time as a stay-at-home mum. While she knew she wanted to work for herself, she also recognised the value of having experienced support to help turn her business idea into reality.

Alana now produces 5,000 copies every six weeks, distributing them to around 150 outlets throughout Caloundra. What began as an idea supported through mentoring and business guidance has grown into a publication that connects local residents, businesses and community stories.
